A sample objection letter is available for you to use as a starting point. Just copy and paste the example text into your email or word processor, and add anything you think has been missed.

Please make sure you make the deadline. Objections must be received by April 3rd, 2017, or else you lose the right to participate in the process. Regardless of how seriously you could be impacted, you will be ignored by the officials if you haven’t submitted your objection on time.

Please make sure to include your postal address in your objection. You can submit your objection via email, but if it does not contain a postal address to receive a response at, your objection will not be accepted or counted.

If you choose to send your objection via email, use the Cc or Bcc function to send a duplicate copy to another address you trust (your alternate address, a family member, etc.) at the same time. This gives you something to hold up as proof if you’re told “we never got your email.”

Where to send your objection

The minimum requirement is that all official objections be submitted to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forests (MNRF) and Freymond Lumber. It’s a good idea to submit a 3rd copy to the Faraday Council, as well.
